Innovation Business Intake Form

The Spark is the idea-a new product or approach that will change the way the world does business. The mission of PantherlabWorks is to provide the fuel-the resources and expertise required to move innovations from the laboratory to commercial and military applications.

PantherlabWorks moves innovations from lab to market. We provide a non-commercial, educational and focused environment for cultivating promising business ideas. Our experienced staff and affiliates provide research and other assistance to launch cutting-edge products and technologies for our country's defense.

As a technology-oriented effective business incubator, we guide inventors and entrepreneurs through a systematic and detailed process that enables them to identify and validate markets, scrutinize technology scaling issues and define the best business model for financial success.

The PantherlabWorks team works closely with the research,
business and venture capital communities. Collaboration with
all three of these communities ensures that organizations from
across southwestern Pennsylvania can benefit from having access
to the University's world-class research environment. We provide
our services to inventors and entrepreneurs at little or no cost.
PantherlabWorks is in partnership with the University of
Pittsburgh Technology Commercialization Alliance.

Put your ideas on the fast track. If you are interested in exploring the
business potential of an idea or product you have developed, plan
to attend one of our briefings.

Please e-mail us at ieeinfo@katz.pitt.edu or call (412) 648-1544 for more information.
